My sister's friend, Nicole Kwon, is one of the most talented people I know. A designer for Peter Som and Vivienne Westwood, she finally started her own line, NKWON. Although just her first season, the pieces are breathtaking, and the draping and stitching couldn't be better. I tagged along with my sister to a showing for buyers (boutiques, department stores, etc) last weekend, and although the experience taught me I could never work in the fashion world, it was damn fun to be part of high fashion society for a day.
